Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is a systematic, proactive method for evaluating a process to identify where and how it might fail and to assess the relative impact of different failures, in order to identify the parts of the process that are most in need of change. FMEA helps us to deal with the potential problematic situations that a process or product can have during manufacturing so it helps the organisations to deal with these situations in advance based upon severity & detection criteria before they arise actually & hamper quality requirements of product or process.
